Lizzie is an award winning visual storyteller and writer. She is a dual national American/British citizen currently based in Hanoi, Vietnam. An avid traveller, Lizzie is currently living in Southeast Asia teaching ESL and photographing those she meets along the way. Of everything she has photographed, her favourite subject is joy; with so much darkness in the world, her goal is to enshrine every little moment of happiness and beauty she can.
Lizzie’s work has been published by VICE, The New York Times, TIME, Orlando Sentinel, Baltimore Sun, Axios, and Toledo Blade, among others. Her work has also been recognized for excellence by the Ohio News Photographers Association and Maine Press Association, and she has been selected as a judge for the ONPA clips contest.
She received her Bachelor of Science in Journalism from Emerson College in 2021, and holds certifications in Terrorism and Counterterrorism, ESL, and Environmental Conservation.
